A trip to Beech Hill hotel and spa

A trip to Beech Hill hotel and spa

Hey beauties,

hope you’re all well. I recently had a trip to a luxury hotel and spa in the lakes and wanted to tell you all about it!

I headed from home up to the Beech Hill Hotel and Spa which looks out onto lake windermere in the lake district. I absolutely love the lakes because there’s so much countryside to explore and so much to do. I hadn’t stayed at this hotel before so I was really excited to try somewhere new.

Arriving at the car park i was greeted with a stunning view of the hotel and its grounds and from pretty much everywhere in the hotel there were absolutely insane views of the lake windermere. it sure beats the morning views back home!

We checked in and then went straight to our room which was called the Windermere Suite! When i tell you this was the BEST hotel room I’ve ever had, I’m not kidding. My jaw physically dropped as we stepped inside the recently renovated room. It was so spacious and modern and so perfect for a romantic retreat or a honeymoon!

There were two beautiful sofas alongside a picture frame tv, artwork and 2 sets of bifold doors that open out onto a private balcony equipped with hot tub, sun hungers and table and chair. The bed was huge and the bathroom was so spacious! A huge walk in shower and a free standing bath where you can enjoy a view of the lake (I of course took advantage of that!).

The balcony was just insane and definitely the highlight of the room because you could literally wake up to the views, step outside and sit sipping prosecco looking out onto the lake watching without a care in the world! It was my first time staying somewhere with a hot tub in the UK so I was totally in my element!

Next was the spa. if you know me spas are my thing I love a spa retreat, I actually went to one back in February at Shringley hall that you can read about. The spa had an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, nail bar, treatment rooms and a long balcony with 2 jacuzzis, chairs and again an incredible view. We had the afternoon slot and we also had a treat with a hot stone massage (25minute). It did not disappoint. The spa facilities were nice and clean and it was nice and quiet too.

In the evening we had some bar food and then spent the night enjoying the views.

The hotel was clean, quiet and really well located (but if you want to explore other areas like Bowness etc then you will need to drive. it only took us about 10 minutes to get to Bowness on Windermere the next day where we went for a lovely walk and pub grub before heading back home.

Overall it was a super relaxing weekend with the only draw back being that it just went too fast! I really enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it if you’re after a little break from mundane life!

Hope you enjoyed this post, and remember you can see videos from my tip of the hotel and what else I got up to on my instagram and TikTok.

as always thanks for reading and I’ll catch you soon

Natasha
