Like a lot of girls our there, I just LOVE wearing fake tan! There’s something about it that just makes me feel so much more confident (especially when I’m preparing for a big event).
After I found a brand that I absolutely loved, I was convinced that I wouldn’t find another product that I liked as much….until I tried this!
I came across a brand called Australian Glow. I hadn’t heard of them before but when I saw that they had a 1 hour ultra dark express mousse tan – I just had to try it. Being olive skinned, it’s often hard to find a tan that’s dark enough for me and that’s natural looking; so I really wanted to give this dark shade a try.
The tan arrived and I applied the mousse all over my body. One of the first things I noticed was that it applied flawlessly (and that’s coming from a girl who hates the tanning application process). I also noticed it didn’t smell either which was such a bonus point. It did apply very dark but I left it on for the hour as instructed and then hopped into the shower to rinse. The best part was that I didn’t have to ruin my bedsheets like I do with other fake tans that develop over 6 hours to develop (winner!).
As with every tan, the top layer rinses off revealing a lighter shade and this was no exception, but when I looked at the aftermath in the mirror, I was blown away by how beautiful the colour looked. It wasn’t orange, it wasn’t dirty or muddy looking, and when I went out, so many people were complimenting me. There were no streaks and I just knew that this tan was a keeper!
In terms of prices it’s around £18 (similar to bonds sands) and you can buy it at places like Beauty Bay, Superdrug, and of course their website. For a girl who had been using the same few tans for so long, it was great to see that there were other products that I liked as much as and even more.
I 100% recommend this tan for anyone who wants to give themselves a sun kissed glow, (just like you’d been to Australia), you won’t regret it!
