Review of the Glow Recipe watermelon pink juice moisturiser!

Review of the Glow Recipe watermelon pink juice moisturiser!

Hey all as you may have seen from my latest Cult Beauty haul I finally managed to get my hands on the Glow recipe watermelon moisturiser after wanting it for such a long time.

The Korean skincare brand has just taken off and I’m not surprised given the cool names, packaging and the fact that Koreans are renowned for having great skin.

Alongside their serums and sleeping masks is the pink juice moisturiser that I decided to try out first. I got a 60ml bottle for £36 which isn’t a bad price especially when compared to the likes of Estee Lauder and Khiels.

Here’s a quick summary of the pros:

-Nice glass bottle packaging

-easy to use pump

-lightweight and oil free

-quite magnifying and not to shiny

-easy to rub in/spreadable

-can be used on a variety of skin types

-soaks into the skin so quickly (great option for pre makeup application)

-Available on cult beauty, Amazon and Glow recipe website

And here are some of the cons:

-Sells out so fast

-due to the glass bottle may not be one to bring on your travels

-It’s scented! Some people don’t like to put fragrance on their face so something to be mindful of (I have sensitive skin thought and it didn’t react)

-the labels on the bottle feel fairly cheap (but the glass bottle is nice)

– My bottle was leaking when it arrived so make sure it’s upright

Overall I am enjoying using the product. It’s not too heavy or greasy and even better it doesn’t irritate my psoriasis and sensitive skin. I would also like to try some of their other products like their avocado sleeping mask or their Pineapple C Bright serum!

Have you guys tried anything from Glow Recipe? Let me know how you found it.

You can buy it here from Cult Beauty.

Thanks for visiting guys and take care

Natasha
